Dear Ms. Ain,

It is with great enthusiasm that we write to inform you that after reviewing the proposal for your opera Joan of Arc, we are very interested in inviting you to produce the project here at The Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine.

Artistically, this "opera for Dramatic Coloratura and Surround Sound" is truly extraordinary. The ethereal nature of your music transcends normal aesthetic values, so much so, that we anticipate it should have a universally profound effect upon an audience. To combine this stunning aural experience with the visual splendor of the Cathedral seems very appropriate, especially when we consider the subject matter of the work.

Yours Sincerely,

The Reverend Cannon Thomas Miller
Minister for Arts and Liturgy

Alexander Kanter

To Whom it May Concern:

Joan of Arc by Noa Ain is a movingly poetic composition expressed in a deeply felt lyricism. The concept is bold and original and embodies the Divine Spirit of the young peasant soldier in her ultimate manifestation. Of particular interest is the way the chorus serves as an all embracing background to Joan's mystical revelations. This is compellingly effective.

This composition merits the attention and support of all who are truly dedicated to furthering the work of genuinely gifted composers.

Dear Noa,

And, "Joan of.." is exquisite. I was utterly engaged, moved, admiring ...I guess I've never been exposed to soundscape before, and I never thought I would love anything involving all that electronic stuff. I can't imagine what the score looks like, or how you went about this, but I do love it.

Best Love,

Mary
